Your Moving Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know before, during, and after your move — straight from our team.

What is the best time of year to move in Springdale?

Spring and early fall tend to offer the most comfortable conditions for moving in Springdale. Summer is the busiest season, so availability fills up fast and rates may be higher. If you have flexibility, scheduling between October and April can mean easier booking and more crew options.

How do I get an accurate quote for my move?

The most reliable way is to schedule a free on-site estimate. A move coordinator will walk through your home or office, review what needs to be transported, and provide a written quote. Phone or online estimates are also available for smaller jobs.

Will the movers protect my floors and walls during the move?

Yes. We use floor runners on hardwood, tile, and carpet, and we pad door frames and tight corners before carrying anything through. Furniture is wrapped in moving blankets and stretch wrap before it leaves the room.

Can I leave clothes inside my dresser drawers?

Soft clothing items can usually stay in dresser drawers for local moves, as long as the dresser is not overly heavy. Fragile items, liquids, and heavy objects should always be removed before we carry the piece. Your crew will advise on-site if anything needs to be adjusted.

How do you handle moves for high-rise apartments or buildings with elevators?

We coordinate with building management in advance to reserve elevator access and loading zones. Our crews are experienced with tight hallways, freight elevators, and buildings that have strict move-in windows. Let us know your building’s rules when you book and we will handle the logistics.

What size truck will you send for my move?

Truck size depends on the volume of your inventory. After your estimate, we assign the right truck — from a 16-foot box truck for smaller jobs to a 26-foot vehicle for larger homes or office relocations. We always aim to complete your move in a single load when possible.

Do I need to be present during the entire move?

We recommend being available at the start and end of the job. During loading and unloading, it helps to have someone on-site to answer questions and confirm placement. If you cannot be there the whole time, a trusted representative can stand in — just let us know ahead of time.

How are fragile or high-value items handled?

Items like artwork, mirrors, antiques, chandeliers, and electronics receive extra layers of wrapping and are loaded last to minimize shifting during transport. For extremely high-value items, we offer specialty crating and enhanced coverage options — ask your coordinator when booking.

Can you move items into or out of a storage unit?

Yes. We can load from a storage unit, deliver to one, or move items between units. If you need temporary storage between your move-out and move-in dates, we also work with climate-controlled facilities in the area and can arrange direct delivery.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment is typically collected after the job is complete. For long-distance moves, a deposit may be required at the time of booking — your coordinator will explain the payment schedule upfront.

What if my new home or office is not ready on moving day?

It happens. If your destination is not available when expected, we can hold your belongings in our truck for a short window or coordinate short-term storage. Contact us as early as possible if your move-in date changes so we can adjust the plan without added stress.

Do your movers work in the rain or cold weather?

Yes. Our crews are equipped for various weather conditions and come prepared with extra protective wrap for wet days. We monitor forecasts before every job and communicate with customers if conditions require any adjustments to the plan.

How long does a typical local move take?

A one-bedroom apartment usually takes two to four hours with a two-person crew. A three-bedroom house can take five to eight hours or more depending on volume, stairs, and distance between locations. Your coordinator will give you a realistic time estimate based on your specific inventory.

Is tipping the movers expected?

Tipping is never required but is always appreciated. If your crew did a great job, a tip is a meaningful way to recognize their effort. A common guideline is five to twenty dollars per mover depending on the size and difficulty of the job — but any amount is welcome.
